Cape Horn Estate

The area is surrounded with beauty. Hiking, fishing, camping, windsurfing and kiteboarding are just a few of the activities enjoyed by many.  West of Stevenson you will see The Bridge of the Gods a steel truss cantilever toll bridge, a final destination of the “Amazing Race”, that will take you across the Columbia River to Oregon.  The area also boasts an impressive amount of wineries and vineyards.  While visiting the Columbia gorge you will see numerous waterfalls, mountains and maybe even a bigfoot sighting.

Cape Horn Estate is located in the city of Skamania, off SR-14 behind the Skamania General Store on 1.2 acres with a stunning view of the Oregon hillsides in the Columbia Gorge.  We are just a short 30 minutes from the 1-205 bridge on the Washington side.  The drive up the gorge to the venue  is one of the many highlights of this beautiful destination.

Just up the highway is Beacon Rock the plug of an ancient volcano and a popular climbing destination. The rock is 845 feet above the river and has a trail for hiking to the top of the rock. Located 12 miles east of Cape Horn Estate is the quaint town of Stevenson.  Stevenson is home of the Columbia Gorge Interpretive Center Museum, the River House Art Gallery, and Skamania Performing Arts Foundation.
